Does the plugin require an internet connection to use?
Yes, for installation and activation. Once Luma is activated, you can use it offline
The plugin will need to validate its license online once every 14 days, which happens automatically. If you need to use the plugin for a sustained period in an offline environment, then please use the offline activation option.
